Behavioral Optometry - Vision Therapy: ”Concussion - Fixation Disparity“
This is a 15 hr course that covers the importance of Fixation Disparity and vision processing in relation to concussion clients and other related problems.
We will cover the basic Assessment and Specific Testing with respect to clinical practice with concussion clients. Evaluation and Vision Training will be included covering medical concerns, visual development, basic ocular motor functioning, Stereopsis, and much more.
A special emphasis will be upon dizziness and how the optometrist plays a critical role with the use of lenses, prisms, selective occlusion, filters and visual rehabilitation.
The attendee will leave the meeting with an in depth understanding of how important Fixation and vestibular processing is to the visual process.
